This Groove is an extension of the Central World Shopping Center in Bangkok, China and created by the practice of Synthesis Design + Architecture in 2013. The façade of the project faces the Ploenchit Road and the BTS Skytrain so the roof and exterior provide a good view of the surroundings.

 There are continuous horizontal lines in the facade that adapt to the dimensions needed for restaurants, retail shops or terraces and the main material is a back lit aluminum panel that incorporates lighting, graphics and a unique glow effect during the nighttime.

 The need for climate control was reduced due to the outdoor dining experience and a system of open air trellis which are fitted into a retractable canopy to protect from both rain and sun.
